In early May, as some states lifted social distancing restrictions, restaurants started reopening. Americans are keen to dine outside their homes, however, there is a renewed sense of caution as coronavirus cases soar in parts of the United States. At the same time, given that 60% of business closures due to the coronavirus pandemic are now permanent, people crave to show solidarity and community support.
